Mailbox Mystery #3

NEW MYSTERY QUILT!! Whether this will be your 1st or 100th mystery quilt, you are sure to have blast when you join Kelly on a quilting adventure! For those unfamiliar with a Mystery Quilt, you will be given a supply list and your first clue...the cutting instructions! And no, you won't get any more clues out of me than that (unless you are a super sleuth and have already recognized the true first clue)! The beauty of this Mystery Quilt is that there isn't any pressure! Each Friday beginning July 11, I will email you (get it? eMAILBOX MYSTERY!) the next "CLUE" aka step in the quilt. Each clue will have either a pictorial or video component to the email and I am available via email or in the shop for any questions. For the last "CLUE" you'll have THE BIG REVEAL!! At the end of adventure, you will either be mailed a hard copy of the pattern or you can pick it up at S&ST. Everyone who submits progress photos either via Facebook, email, or in the store will be entered to win a prize at the completion of the mystery! Nope, there’s no clue what that will be either! LOL The supply list will be emailed upon paid registration. This quilt measures approximately 40" x 47" and requires the following yardage. This is a FABULOUS stash quilt!!! (That might just be another sneaky clue...shhhh). (18) 2.5" x WOF strips of assorted prints; pictured in the center section in the photo Contrast...1/4 yard; the green pictured above. Background...1/2 yard (right side of photo); white fabric show in photo. Binding...3/8 yard Non-directional fabrics will be best. All fabrics have the potential to touch each other. Please be sure there is clear contrast between the background & contrast fabrics with relationship to each other and the strips. For example, there were strips in my pack that has white background . I chose to eliminate them as I am using a white tone on tone for the background of the quilt.
